Pinky had No Idea

Apparently (according to the zoo ethic's committee) it is wrong to borrow a chimp for the evening and take him to a country western bar. A spokesman for Diablo Inc., in a recent press conference, says Pinky only allowed his friend to drink root beer and saw nothing wrong with showing him "how the other half lives." Pinky has temporarily been reassigned to the zoo commissary until this incident is investigated further.

The Subconscious and St. Francis

Now that Pinky works at the zoo, his dreams are becoming more like his art, and both his dreams and art are more like his daily reality. Pinky enjoys this integration .

Pinky's Zoo Dream

Pinky dreamed he created a new exhibit at the zoo. It consisted of giant dining room furniture (three times normal size). The huge walls had a flowery patterned wallpaper. Every ten minutes a little monkey wearing a dress would be let out of a trap door in the wall. The monkey knew what what coming and would start running. Then a lumbering rhino would be let out of another door and tear after the frightened little monkey. Pinky was the zoo keeper in charge of changing the monkey's dress after every chase. the monkey liked the lavender polka-dotted dress with the matching rumba panties.

Hanuman Beaton and his Collection of Pinky Diablo Art

Hanuman Beaton is Pinky's childhood friend and lifelong confidant. (Little Hanuman's parents were liberal beatniks--thus the name.) Hanuman, now a secret computer programmer for various nefarious agencies, has created a private Pinky Diablo art museum. He has a huge collection of drawings, painting and sculptures from Pinky that Pinky was unaware of. Apparently Hanuman started stealing Pinky's classroom note doodles in high school. He raided Pableau X and Granny D's underwear drawers where Pinky's childhood drawings were always kept. Most of the art that Pinky has ever sold has turned out to be bought by agents of Hanuman. Hanuman recently told Pinky about this collection. No one other than Hanuman and his closest associates have ever seen these hidden masterpieces. Pinky is trying to raise money to hire Blackwater to "acquire" this collection back from Hanuman. If you would like to help, please send a quarter to Pinky Diablo in an unmarked envelope (Don't give your name because he is planning to run for public office soon and doesn't want to be beholden to big business.)

A Little Reading Can Really Screw Things Up

As you know, Pinky is on the verge of Bollywood fame playing Hanuman in a new movie series. But Pinky started reading the Ramayana this week. Now he is considering contacting the director and demanding a change. He feels that he is more in sync with Rama than with Hanuman. Afterall, Rama was the perfect man. And guess what is underneath Pinky's monkey-like appearance?

Pinky Continues to Stay in Character

Pinky has been practicing for his Bollywood debut as Hanuman. Today he painted french doors for a friend and stayed in the Hamuman costume and character. Pinky constantly asks himself: WWHD?

The monkeys and bears decided that since Hanuman was the son of the Wind God, Vyu, he was the best at jumping and must leap to Lanka. Hanuman had his father's energy and swiftness, power and strength. (When Hanuman was a child he thought the sun was a ripe fruit and tried to jump up and catch it. He jumped so high that he nearly got burnt, but the Sun was impressed and gave Hanuman the gift of immortality as a reward for his courage and cleverness.)

Rama gave Hanuman his ring, to give to Sita. Hanuman prayed to his father and jumped. (Hanuman's leap is the subject of many paintings.) Hanuman leapt over the ocean, escaping several devouring demons that he met on the way. Here you can see him jumping through the jaws of Surasa, a sea monster, on the way to the island of Lanka.

Pinky to Star in Bollywood Series

Indian Bollywood director Kaizad Guztad has asked Pinky to star in a series of films. Pinky will play the Hindu monkey god Hamuman who will be a a modern day superhero. After Pinky accepted, he googled Mr. Guztad and discovered he has been charged for the death of his assistant who fell under a train during filming of a recent film. Pinky said in an interview with CNN, "Who hasn't had that kind of problem."
